I have been a licensed attorney in the State of Texas since November of 1988. I've handled appeals and writs in the Fifth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, and appeals to the United States Supreme Court.

I am one of only eight lawyers in San Antonio who is Board Certified in both Criminal Law and Criminal Appellate Law by the State Bar of Texas.

As a board certified specialist in Criminal Law and Criminal Appellate Law, I have handled hundreds of appeals, and numerous post conviction writs of habeas corpus.

Angela J. Moore, Attorney at Law

When you have been convicted of a crime, you still have options available. Direct appeals, writs of habeas corpus, and expunctions can offer relief from the consequences of a conviction.

These complex post-conviction matters are part of a highly specialized area of the law. In these cases, you need representation from an experienced specialist, not a general practitioner. I have spent three decades practicing this form of specialized law, and I am here to help you maximize your chances of success.

I handle several types of criminal matters, including: Criminal Appellate Law, Post-Conviction, Direct Appeals, Writs of Habeas Corpus, and Expunctions. Because my area of law is so specific, I accept only those cases my docket will allow.

I have been licensed and working in Texas since 1988. I have handled writs and appeals in the Fifth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, as well as United States Supreme Court appeals. I am one of only eight San Antonio lawyers with a double board certification in both Criminal Appellate Law and Criminal Law. When I accept a case, I put forth my best effort to achieve the desired outcome for my client.

If you are in need of post-conviction relief, please contact my office today to learn more about my services or to make an appointment.

  • Appeals: What are my options?

    • When the trial is over and you or a loved one is convicted of a criminal offense, the fight does not have to end there!
    • Every person convicted in Texas is entitled to appeal their conviction to the intermediate court of appeals.
    • This timeline is very quick, so contact me as soon as possible after the verdict.  We can still fight this offense!
    • If the time has expired to file a notice of appeal, or the case is un-reviewable on appeal, there are still options we can pursue.
